It's about connection.

We explore the edges of the earth and the human experience.

Through the stories of those on board and those we meet, we articulate the connection between people and place.

Our goal is to inspire the protection of wild places so future generations can experience what it is like to have a reciprocal relationship with nature.

What we do

Program Highlight: Arctic Paddle

Karl Krüger is two seasons into a three season paddle of the Canadian Arctic's Northwest Passage by SUP.

In 2022 and 2023, Karl paddled solo and unsupported almost 900 miles of the Arctic coastline to get to know deeply the place we call the Arctic.

"I've done over 60 deliveries up and down the Inside Passage in British Columbia and I didn't know how this coast lives and breathes until I SUP'd it in the Race to Alaska in 2017.  That is why I want to paddle the Arctic. I Want to know it in my bones."

In 2026, Karl will paddle from Kugluktuk to Gjoa Haven, Nunavut. His stories will capture the raw and rich environment of the Arctic before it is gone forever.
